The general requirement for earning the certification of the Institute is a minimum of Bachelor’s degree/Higher National Diploma from recognised and accredited Institutions. Where sitting for the examination of the Institute applies.
Associate Member (AGIPM)
Requirements:
- 5 to 10 years of Project Management experience.
- Must pass the CPM examination or apply for Associate status.
Full Member (FGIPM)
Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Project Management.
- Must hold the Chartered Project Manager (CPM) title for at least 3 years
- have above years of experience to apply for direct membership
Fellow Member (FEGIPM)
Requirements:
- Minimum of 15 years of Project Management experience.
- Must have been a Full Member (FGIPM) for 3 years.
- Must have above years of experience to apply for direct membership
Doctoral Fellow (DrGIPM)
- Minimum of 20 years of Project Management experience.
- Must have a Master's degree or higher.
Corporate Membership
- Open to companies in any sector or industry
- Demonstrate commitment to the latest standards in project management.
